T.C. Fry put out a little book years ago, The Health Formula. I probably carry the only few copies left. On the cover is a formula written on a blackboard which, up until lately, I always considered short-sighted:" Exercise + The Raw Food Diet = Great Health! Try It!" Of course, I felt it to be misleading to The Uniformed Hygienist, because it gave the impression that these 2 factors were all there was to Super Health. And we all know full well that The 10 Energy Enhancers are necessary, and that, in fact, "Great Health" starts with #9 Emotional Balance, Freedom from Addiction, High Self-Esteem, A Purposeful Life & Meaningful Goals + #10 Nurturing Relationships. When these 2 factors are replaced by The Energy Robbers #9 Emotional UnBalance, Addiction, Low Self-Esteem, A Purposeless Life & Meaningless Goals + #10 Toxic Relationships, The Health Seeker doesn't have a chance of achieving a lasting state of Super Health! But after what I have gone through since beginning my own recovery on August 1, 1998, I do appreciate what T.C. was urging Health Seekers to do. He could not teach what he did not have. And all who knew T.C. agree, lovingly or not, as the case may be, that #9 and #10 were not at the top of his practiced list. #5 and #8, however, these he practiced. And they are supremely important to Your Millennium March to Superlative Health! Dear GetWell Friends, I want to go on record here today, as YOUR PERSONAL EXHORTER & MESSENGER. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...

"Eat More Raw Food & Keep M-O-V-I-N-G into The New Millenium!"

Study Aterhov's RAW-EATING repeatedly!

Prepare TASTY, satisfying, raw eats.

Sweat, Strengthen & Stretch relentlessly!

Learn to Appreciate ALL ACTS of Your Personal Movement!

WARNING: "If you don't use it, you'll lose it!"

I know this is a cliché but it is so true. What if you woke up one morning and everything hurt when you moved? Dear GetWell Friends, I LOVE YOU! I owe so much to you! I don't want you to lose "it"! PLEASE... Keep M-O-V-I-N-G!

Do Some Sweating Sweat til the cheeks are rosy from vigorous circulation going through the capillary bed close to your skin. Appreciate pain as weakness leaving the body. Sweat til you feel your heart pumping hard and adrenaline and endorphins are released and you start smiling and then laughing and then making happy noises just 'cuz you're revved up! Sweat til you are breathless and bouncing! SWEAT til you're High!

Do Some Strengthening Get some 3, 5, and 8 pound weights. Put on inspiring music to ease the pain of weakness leaving your body. Lift til adrenaline and endorphins are released, til you're challenged. STRENGTHEN til you're High!

Do Some Stretching Stretch to music, slow but safe, til over the months, you can bend, twist, turn, reach, rock, and roll! Til you can move with a youthful, graceful, long and supple pleasure. STRETCH til you're High!

Let MOVEMENT be" A High of The New Millennium!"

Get High on The Attitude of Gratitude!

In December of 1997, I was sinking into my deathbed. This came at the end of years of wrong decisions from living in spiritual darkness. ( Call it "emotional immaturity" or "dysfunction." The world has good terms, too, for that which brings a person to his deathbed, slow but sure.) True-life movies and fictional videos, alike, are put out regularly based on the simple, Lazarus idea of a person taken to the brink of death and who wakes up to the wonderment of life when he is snatched back into the world of the living. It's "the classic, near-death experience." Gratitude and wonderment are the over-riding emotions. And transformation into a person more aware, more alive, more joyful, more directed, and more of everything good!

The fibromyalgia and the fat and the depression and all the other darknesses that had me sinking fast also had me in tremendous physical pain with virtually any movement. I am still not fully recovered and will have many more months of hard work sweating, stretching, strengthening before I declare myself "FULLY RECOVERED!" But I can move now, with pleasure. And I am so grateful for each simple, pleasure-filled movement of vigor, lifting, and lengthening I can perform!
